  • • WHAT  DO  "REINFORCEMENT SESSIONS" CONSIST OF?
Dogs learn by repetition, meaning that a new habit (e.g., walking on "heel") requires a certain amount of lessons until it is fully assimilated. Reinforcement Sessions are the second part of the training where, after you & your pup have been taught what to do, all that is left is to repeat it enough times! Due to some busy schedules, it's difficult for the majority of owners to continue this process all by themselves & therefore many tend to require follow-up help for continuity. Reinforcement Sessions are highly recommended to guarantee the sought after results. You can relax knowing your pup is still learning & improving with the help of a professional.
  • • WHERE IS THE TRAINING BASED?
The lessons will take place near your place of residency or a chosen place best suited for the training. The trainer can travel anywhere within London Zones 1 & 2. This does not mean that it won't be possible to offer training if you're based outside of Zones 1 & 2! For specific zone rates, please contact the trainer.
  • • WHAT IS MY APPROACH TO PET TRAINING?
Nina chooses her approach based on the latest research developed in the canine world, along with methods that are in line with her ethical values. Positive Reinforcement has been proven, over the years, to be the most effective & ethical approach to train obedience & make our pups do as they're asked without causing future psychological damage (learn more about positive reinforcement methods with these recommendations). Any method used in the training process that's not approved by the owners will be substituted by the trainer & other techniques will be used so that everyone involved is comfortable during the process.
  • • WHAT  IF  I  DON'T  END  UP  USING  ALL  THE LESSONS  I  PAID  FOR?  CAN  I  GET  A REFUND?
If, for any reason, you no longer wish to proceed with the training plan, you would get a 50% refund from the lessons you haven't used. For example, if you paid for a Puppy Pack (£225) & you've only used 3 of the 5 lessons provided in the plan, you would get a refund of £45! Unforeseen events happen, & if you can no longer continue with the lessons at the present time, rescheduling is always possible & no extra fee will be added to do so. We can postpone the lessons until a period that suits you best & return to the plan at a more suitable time!
  • • IS  MY  DOG  TOO  OLD  TO  BE  TRAINED?
Contrary to popular belief, you CAN teach an old dog new tricks! There is no expiration date on learning. Our pups are in a constant learning process & it's always possible to change old, undesired habits that our dogs have acquired over the years, with patience & consistency. But it is true that "old habits die hard", so don't be surprised that you'll have to put extra effort in training an older dog... However, don't lose hope! Our trainer is here to help & with the right training plan, change can happen faster than you think.
